جزء خطاب في مصر القديمة
” يعد هذا الخطاب من أطرف المراسلات في حكايات الحب في مصر القديمة مما نقدمة كنموذج يعبر عن مشاعر صادقة للحب والوفاء من الآدب المصري القديم “
” فهو خطاب أحد الأزواج إلى زوجته المتوفاة (بردية بمتحف ليـدن في هولندا) يقاضيها بعد موتها إلى الأرباب فهذا الزوج بعد أن ماتت زوجته ومضى على موتها ثلاث سنوات، لم ينسها ولم يفارقه خيالها. وكان هذا الخيال يتراءى له في أحلامه. وذات مرة تراءى له هذا الخيال رافعًا يده في وجهه كأنما يهم بضربه. وكان تفكيره المستمر في زوجته في خياله يبعث الاضطراب في نفسه، فظنها تضطهده، فاستشار أحد الكهنة السحرة في ذلك، فنصحه بأن يكتب خطابًا إلى روح زوجته يشكوها إلى الأرباب “
” ويطلب أن يتقاضى معها إليهم؛ فكتب إليها، خطابًا وذهب به إلى مقبرتها في أحد الأعياد وقرأه بصوت عالٍ، ثم ربطه بتمثالها حتى يصل إليها، ونراه فيه متحدثًا بفضائله أنه لم يسئ إلى زوجته قط، ولم يفكر في غيرها، قائلاً
لماذا تؤذينني حتى صرت في الحالة التعسة التي أنا فيها.
ماذا فعلت، وكيف ترفعين يدك عليَّ وأنا لم أسئ إليك قط؟!
لأُقاضيك أمام أرباب الغرب التسعة (أوزير وتاسوعه) لتحكم بيني وبينك
ماذا فعلت مما يستوجب استياءك مني ؟!
لقد تزوجتكِ وأنا حديث السن فعشت بجانبك
ثم شغلت مناصب في جهات أخرى،
فلم أهملك ولم أدخل على قلبك شيئاً من الألم.
انظري ! لقد صرت بعد ذلك ضابطاً في جيش الملك بين ضباط العربات الحربية.فكنت أقدم بها إليك، وأحمل إليك فيها هدايا طيبة.ولم أُخف عنك شيئاً طيلة حياتك
ولم يستطع أحد أن يقول في وقت من الأوقات إني أسيء معاملتك.كلا، ولم يستطع أحد أن يقول إني بعد الفراق دخلت بيتاً آخر. وحينما أُلزمت بالبقاء في المكان الذي أنا فيه الآن،وكان مستحيلاً عليَّ أن أعود إليك
بعثتُ إليك بزيتي وخبزي وملابسي.ولم يحدث قط أن أرسلت مثل ذلك إلى غيرك ! ثم لما مرضت، ألم أرسل إليك طبيباً صنع لك الأدوية،وكان طوع أمرك في كل ما تطلبين !
ولما وَجَبَ أن أُرافق الملك إلى الجنوب، كان عندك قلبي
وقد بقيت ثمانية أشهر دائم الفكر، قليل الأكل، قليل الشرب
وبعد موتك سرت إلى ’منـف‘ ورجوت الملك أن يأذن لي في العودة إليك.ثم بكيت طويلاً أنا ورجالي أمام بيتي.
وقدمتُ كثيراً من الملابس والأقمشة لفائف لجثمانك
انظري ! لقد مضت عليَّ الآن ثلاث سنوات وأنا وحيد لم أدخل بيتاً آخر (أي لم يتزوج امرأة أخرى).أما أخواتي اللواتي في بيتي، فإني لم أدخل عند واحدة منهن”.
